Here’s a quick demo of a killer 2011 Fodera NYC Empire 5 string bass. This bass has the Fodera Seymour Duncan dual coil pickups that has a switch to change them to single coil and the Pope 3-band 18 volt preamp with bypass switch. The bass has a one piece ash body with a maple neck and fretboard and is strung up with GHS Super Steel Strings.
I recorded the bass direct through my A-Designs Audio KGB-II preamp/DI, UA 2-1176, straight into my Universal Audio Apollo Twin and used Tsunami cables for all connections.
