This is a video overview of an awesome fretless bass by Sterling by Music Man. The Ray 34 CA Fretless is an incredibly constructed, killer playing, 34″ scale lined fretless. Key features are 2 band pre amp, rosewood-lined fingerboard, ash-non contoured body and maple neck.
I’m super impressed by the playability and sound quality of this bass, it definitely reminds me of the original Music Man Stingray basses. This bass is ready to gig right out of the box.
The first half of the video was shot and recorded with my Canon Vixia HFS20 video camera and Sennheiser MKE400 microphone, and the 2nd half of the video was shot with a Canon SX210 camera and Apogee MiC 96k microphone.
