Just received this incredible 1973 Fender Jazz bass yesterday. It hadn’t been played in over 25 years. It also has Rotosound strings that are over 25 years old. The only modifications to the bass are a Bad Ass bridge that has been on the bass since the 70’s, and a string tree added between the “E” and “A” string.
The bass needs a little TLC but I really wanted to document the bass being played for the first time in years with the old strings still on.
It’s an incredible vintage Fender in “player” condition.
